appearing potholes

Anyone noticed these popping up everywhere since we have had some snow.Take it they will never get repaired though. >:(

Always happens in cold weather - the water gets in tarmac, freezes, expands, breaks tarmac

Yeah but never known it this bad,well round by us anyway,they are everywhere. :o

Yeah but never known it this bad,well round by us anyway,they are everywhere. :o
Thats because its been a nippy winter.

I remember in the early 80s and also early 90s loads of potholes after particularly cold wintery snaps

i was gobsmacked when i saw a council team filling in holes in the road down our street this morning  :o :o

i was gobsmacked when i saw a council team filling in holes in the road down our street this morning  :o :o
What did they use to fill em,plaster. ;D ;)

Pouring tarmac into them you mean. Five minute fix that will last about a week.

 :( loads here in newcastle,suppose there will be a lot more before winters out -it'll be an excuse to put the council tax up  >:(

Great - UK has no money to grit roads - subsequent neglect increases pot holes which we have no money to repair.

Alloy wheels buckled suspension wrecked compensation claims to councils which they cant pay.

I know lets put up road tax as a solution.  :y
