Just got back from watching "Avatar" in 3D (followed by a ruby :) )

What an excellent film .. abso-bloody-lutely fantastic   :y :y :y :y :y

I know the story line is a tad predictable but the cinematography, CGI and special effects are superb.  A good night out all round

So how was it compared to the original Pocahontas in 2D ?

Much improved different, visually... as I said .. story line has been done a million times .. but the effects and the way the 3D effects "drag you in" to the story, without being OTT,  are just very good

totally agree with Entwood - saw Avatar and visually it blew me away  :y

yep the story is a bit light and the whole "unobtainium = oil nudge nudge wink wink you see what we're saying? do ya?" was fairly clunky but dont let that stop you - it's a bit like not liking a Lamborghini cos it's the wrong colour  ;)

haven't seen 44inch chest, looks like the usual brit/gangster/mr madonna terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired-fest - i could be wrong but i'll withold judgement 'til i see it  ::)

Apparently...sigh....it's making people depressed. They dont like the look of reality after seeing the film. What a rather world.

EDIT: That's avatar, not 44 inch d!ck. ;D
