On the basis of that finely judged and objective piece I'm afraid that I'll be obliged to take the Mirror on a regular basis from this point onwards.

It's comforting to witness such sound and well considered opinion being expressed about two of this nation’s great institutions - being as they are bastions of financial probity, free-thinking and imaginative management, tirelessly working for the good of all within these shores.

  It's obviously late for me as well.  This was a comment I placed on a Hannan blog following his piece in the Telegraph about the Mirror editorial concerning his perceived position on both the NHS and BBC.
