Rubbish week......
« on: 15 January 2010, 17:42:23 »

Like CD Pete this week has been sh!te:

1)  The week started bad when I started to feel ill last weekend little did I know how bad it was going to get.  Fever, shivers, headaches, vertigo, loss of appetite and blocked sinuses.  Couldn't take any time off work as I am on a course and I could be set back a lot by missing anything right now.  Missed several evening meals and lost about a stone in weight (the only plus side)

2)  Broke my computer in class, registry corrupted prob by the dual boot software they have (two others are exactly the same so it aint me, honest ::))

3)  Broke my lappy hard drive, so looking to source a replacement, but it happened on tuesday night so had to do all my internet stuff on my shokia E71

4)  Got the latest batch of broken iPods and replacement parts in finally, only to find that one of the 'new' covers has a scratch on it and the tools he sent me are useless; far too thick to open even an envolope let alone an ipod.....

Now I am debating whether to actually do any of the work on my omegas this weekend or not......it would be just my luck to completely break one of them up too......  :(

Try this for bad luck.... I damaged my lower spine in an accident at work in 1986, 13 months after getting married & I have only had ONE pain free day since that time! then apart from the usual shite we all go through from time to time, fast forward to April 2007 when I was diagnosed with an Inoperable, Terminal Tumour on my Esophagus! Six months of Chemo later, and after me & SWMBO insist on a second opinion from a London Specialist they tell me they have misdiagnosed me & my tumour is not the type of Cancer they thought it was and MAY be operable after all, IF we can find a surgeon able & willing to do the Op. Well, after searching the Globe (literally) WE did eventually find one in October 2008, not forty miles away in bloody Newcastle!! Because the tumour was now the size of a large mans fist, it meant I would have to lose my Esophagus & my Stomach and they were removed on Jan. 6th last year and hopefully, the chemo regime will kill the rest of the 'secondaries' and in another 4 years or so we can get back to NORMAL, whatever that is? Oh yea, and the bloody head gasket has gone on the Omega I treated myself to in April last year!!! Then we both got a dose of Swine Flu which laid us low covered in shite for 2 weeks!!!!   You could'nt make it up could you? But guess what?  Me & SWMBO are still standing, and we're still laughing, and we've discovered the true meaning of 'life', it's Shite, it's always been Shite, and it always WILL be shite, but remember..... there's ALWAYS someone worse off than you!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :y
