Touch Screen Monitors
« on: 19 January 2010, 00:14:32 »

Seen them in pubs and shops etc.

Does Windows XP, Vista or 7 support them.

Are there any advantages to using them.

TIA.   :y

I'm sure once the novelty value wore off, you wouldn't tend to use them much. Maybe to impress friends etc.  :-/

I've used one just to try them out in a shop with Windows 7 on it .. and i found that i had to touch down on the icon or path hard to get it to work and do something .. i think there just a quick money making thing .. just a fad !

I would never get one .. good old fashion mouse will do for me

My wife uses touch screen technology (in her mind) as when pointing things out she presses the screen as though it is going to obey her. It is her age I think.
Fingerprints all over the screen.

Didnt think this was too much for the brand and size of screen.

With the right drivers any OS can support touch screens.
