Just a quick question... I know there's a Car Park for the station but just wandering if anyone knows of another car park near Paddington... SWMBO has to go to St Mary's hospital for an appointment and the Tube isn't going to be an option.

Price isn't much of a concern TBH as I'd rather she was in the comfort of the Omega after she's been to the hospital

Tube isn't an option... She's likely to be very uncomfortable so I'd end up shelling out a small fortune for a cab back to Cockfosters (where we normally do as you suggested)

Must be someone who's parked in that area before :-?

not a nice place to drive, one way streets everywhere, easy to get lost there and take a wrong turning. i hate driving round there.

Unless you arrive at 4am, the only parking spaces you will find (which won't be that close) are the £10+ per hour NCP jobbies.

By the time you have factored in fuel, congestion charge, parking costs, etc....it would be cheaper to take the train and then a taxi to cover the short distance from station to hospital.
