Tesco`s
« on: 27 January 2010, 00:03:00 »

I was in the tesco`s home plus earlier talking to their security guard and he told me of scam being done by some tesco customers...They get extra clubcard points on some offers like 1000 extra or so on mobile phone offers or cameras or such and what they do is buy 2 or more of said item get their clubcard points and then the extra ones and then come back a day or so later and get refunds on the item purchased but tesco dont take back the points...Well they have had to ban 1 family from every tesco`s store in shropshire so far and from tesco.com and tesco direct for gaining £18,000 pounds of points fraudantly in the last 6 months!!! break me i wish i knew of the scam earlier i would of done it too!!! This family only came to light cause he set up a forum telling others of how to do this!! Should of kept his gob shut.....Tesco would not of cottoned onto it as most of the staff could not give a toss....Silly blighter has or is gonna lose all his points so i was told..... :-X :-X

More fools on both sides of the coin.

Tesco for not monitoring the amounts of returns on thier club card and not reducing the points, also for possibly (not knowing at this point if all in the same names) for not monitoring post codes with the tune of £18k in points at risk.

Plus the family for being gobby sods and bragging it on a public forum, word of mouth to a close few but not the whole country.

As for Tesco, they deserve what they lost as they take no prissoners when it comes to thier business.

The family in this case deserve what they got for being far too greedy and taking theis pee in bragging about it.

Like the parking ticket thread, it's down to people being idle, I suspect.

for gaining £18,000 pounds of points
How the break do you intend spending £18k in Tesco? unless they sell cars, and I think if they did, would not someone be suspicious of buying a car with POINTS.
Now that is what I call ' POINTS MAKING PRIZES '

I bought a house in Merthyr Town Centre, right opposite the railway station, and what do Merthyr council do, they give permission to build a bloody Tesco Extra. Then about 18 months later they get permission to build a two storey car park, upper level is directly level with my bedroom, so at night I had headlights shining straight into my bedroom.
So NO Tesco got no fans here.

They should have spent the points first before bragging. It's obviously a loop hole that going to be closed sooner or later.

I had a nice bonus from Sainsburys on Nectar points...

I was with Sainsburys Mobile and they (incorrectly) billed me £17,777.12 for a months usage and credited the Nectar points straight away... Bought all our Champagne for our wedding and a weeks shopping, and we still had some left over :y :y

No tesco fans? Aha, im a huge fan of tesco. they pay my bills. (load lorries in a warehouse for them) and get 10% staff discount.
seriously though? dont like the company, they have become even more tight in the 5 years ive been working for them. If i could afford it would shop like they did in the past at the individual shops.
