How did he not realise it was tipped up?

I hope the people involved make a full recovery eventually.

The thing I find amazing is that there were people still trying to drive past on the carriageway :o :o

The man blocked-shocked and dropped is in coma, I hope he will survive..

Unfortunately , most people here, think that they are watching tv  when an accident  happens in front of their eyes..  :-? :-/  and dont realize there is pain..

yep.. and he was watching the death coming towards instead of running..  too much tv habit..

 :o The single person walking on the left of the cross-bridge span; stops, sees what is coming, but still gets caught in the falling steelwork. :'(

What happened to the safety mech on the lorry-should never have happened.....surely the base should lock down or movement be disabled.  Crazy  :o
