another reason to keep your glasses on, fear of a poke in the eye. ;D

The better systems (currently) use electronic glasses with no colour tinge so you could use your existing TV provided it doesn't interpolate between successive frames.

Whilst you're going to that length, you might as well just have the glasses with built-in LCDs and no tv.

In my view 3D TV is a novelty but the marketing people will be busting a gut to make sure lots think it's a must-have.

I'll be very cross if broadcasters plump for a system that screws up normal 2D viewing. >:( >:(
