3d tv anyone?
« on: 28 January 2010, 19:41:13 »

...dont bloody think so myself, splashed on an awsome plasma (imo) not too long ago, i dont expect to have to splash again on a tv for another 10 years or so....(q instant puff of smoke and blank screen ::) ) and by their own admission the early models will need glasses for another 3 years. Sky jmping on the Avatar band wagon they say, i rekon they are pushing an empty market, esp. in the current financial climate.

14 month old TV here, was upper part of range as well, just before the economy went south.

When will it be replaced?

When it is worn out!

They're gona have to do a lot better than a 3D tv to even get me watching the crap.

They're rolling out 3D in some pubs first, very soon, I think. Can you imagine walking in off the street and into a pub full of Eddie the Eagles?

3D tv technolagy has been around well before i was born but whats the point if evrything is filmed in 2d or have they found a way to film in 3d so no more extra colers added.

Now if you want to make tv better then just simply add a games console :D ;D :) :D(well thats my opinion)

By the way can you get colourd contacts insted of the 3d specks it might take off then as you wont feel such a prat.

its flawed in so many ways imo, Avatar was a good film in 3d, but if you concrntrate only on the 3d aspect its got a long way to go i beleive, it was blocky and jumpy in places, and more...layered, if you know what i mean, rather than giving depth to the screen. However, thinking about it, some scenes where far more effective, possibly budget came into it? ....or then again perhaps not...
