I`ve just been paid so i thought right get some road tax sorted now so i dont have to rush about 2mora......I`ve opened my renewal and theres no 16 digit ref on it!!! but no fear folks you can continue by using you log book ref...AAARRRGGHHH thats at home!!! i left it there cause i had the renewal and was gonna do it online!!! Gits!!!! >:( >:( ;D ::)

I'm sure they'd be called a lot more than that if they allowed any old Tom, Dick, or Harry to access the sort of info you see when you are the legitimate owner.

Just had a similar thing to sorn a car, no reminder , no ref no.  Looked at the website and said a ref number was on the log book, sadly I have the wrong half.  But at least it was on the other bit when I checked.

A couple of years back, they sent me a renewal with the wrong 16-digit number on it.  They then sent me another renewal with the correct number, but I'd already given up trying to renew online and had gone to the post office.

Is it possible to phone them and get through to a human being these days?  Last time I tried (some years ago) there was no way to get through the menu system to get to a person. :(
