Been having problems with my gum for a while.. went to the dentist, who needed to do a "procedure" to resolve..

The procedure involved removing one completely heatlthy tooth (not a problem, I have 2 layers of teeth at the back like a shark!).. and root treating the one next to it..

I let him extract the tooth, drill right through the other one... WITHOUT ANY ANASTHETIC!!

Crazy or what eh... no sedation or painkillers etc whatsoever... just held on to the chair and took it ;D

He called me a sadist.... first time he's done that in nearly 30 years of dentistry!

Who's your daddy....  ;D

Could it be that the roots of your baby teeth don't go as deep?   ;)

Sorry, cheap shot, but typed with tongue firmly in my cheek!!

Good on you for witholding the novocaine.  You got any Scottish blood in ye, 'cos that stuff costs lots... ??   ;D

My dentist mentioned that she could "probably" do some work on one of my teeth without anaesthetic because it had previously had root canal treatment. She asked "what do you think?"

I told her she could shoot me full of the stuff before she even thought about reaching for that pesky drill!

It's a small price to pay to be laughed at in the office later when dribbling tea down your shirt!

Thats taking  ' No More Mr Nice Guy ' to the extreme isn't it James  :o

I always ask for a male dentist. When they do work on my teeth I cup their Bo11ox in my hand and tell them I will let them know when they hurt me ;D

My dentist puts a gel on the gum before the injection - I hate injections - but these don't hurt

Now I have a high pain threshold (had an operation without anasthaetic once, necessity, not choice!) but I'd be  :-Xed if I'd have that done without anaesthetic through choice!

What next.... self flagulation?  ;D

Been a while since I've been anywhere near a dentist but as my Mum is a dental nurse she kind of checks them every so often.

No Pain releif :o :o your a braver man than me :y

last year i had a filling being put in by my dentist which popped out when he took the guard out, i promptly swallowed it.
when i asked him if it will cause any problems he said it will just "pass",  needless to say i was a little worried about my next couple of loo visits !!  your well 'ard james !!
i go out cold on a pre med!!

face it , we're Omega owners...  what operation could be more painful than the one it carries out on our wallets every 5 minutes?

that's the REAL meaning of "Love" , being prepared to suffer continual pain of keeping it going.....  


I'm beginning to suspect some people's accidents weren't accidents at all but in reality a deep rooted cry for help !

Me, I'm dafter than the rest of you, saddling myself with a Sintra As well as the Omega....
