You like throwing help back in peoples face? 

Unless you take radios apart for a living, i suggest you send it to DaveDND. Most standard car radio shack shops won't touch them, because they are so bad to dismantle.

When you take off the front panel, you don't find what you think you will. Its basically 2 single din units joined together at the front by the facia, just separating them involves a lot of work, front panel is very fragile, spares are hard to come by and very expensive.

I had one re-built for me, for the 3.0, by someone who is hugely experienced with electronics, even they have 'fun' with them.

I have to be honest and say that although Tunnie and I are not seeing eye to eye at the moment, (not prepared to offer advice when personally asked of him in a pm)  if this is no joke and he is no part of it then I do not find it funny,
Not even on this forum, how would one find such info? Why would one want to? Leads me to think that it is pre planned by both parties, but hey, here, nothing surprises me.
