Been ill since monday evening which initially I though was just me being a wuss overdiong it with the training.

Turns out I have food poisoning of some sort.  It appears to be doing the roundsn as teh S-in-L has the same so be careful and remember to wash your hands regularly.  Trust me you dont want this. 

Anything I have eaten or drank for the last 3 days has just gone straight through and out in about 20 mins.  I was severely dehydrated yesterday and prob should have had an IV in at some point.  My vision is blurry and my head spins constantly.  Plus I have been very sleepy, if I sleep during the day then something is wrong! lol

Getting better slowly but I am hoping to be able to drive home tomorrow as I havent seen the wife for a few weeks and I need some TLC  :P

On the plus side I must have dropped a stone at least. All my trousers and jeans are now baggy, typically I left my belt at home!  D'oh!  :-[

Anyways, unless you need to drop weight and can afford at least a week off work dont go licking toilet seats for the next few weeks while this bug finishes the rounds..... :y

Oh dear-Lord!.....what a horrid week you`ve endured, Matt! :'(

I had Cryptosporidiosis last Summer and that had very similar severe-symptoms which lasted for several weeks......
......after a couple of weeks, I feared I might die; after a month of it, I was frightened at the thought that I wouldn`t die! ;D

Don`t need to tell you anything apropos; 'health', but will say: sincerely hope you feel better and recover soon. ;)

Just getting over this bug myself. Lost 1/2 stone in 2 days.  Felt like sh@t though.  Back to work tomorrow hopefully.  Hope u feel better soon.

You have my express sympathies....

Some years ago, after a rather tasty street food fest in Honk Kong (?) we sailed for points further east very early the following morning.  I then spent the next 2 weeks within falling distance of any dunny - officer, crew, thunderbox over the side, I was not in the position to be picky - and lost 2.5 stone.  As a plooky 10 stone 20 year old (ohhh, how the years have their effect... ::)) I could not afford the percentage weight loss.

The Purser was most supportive...  'Moveth yea not without ample supply of SOFT bog roll', quothe he...

I've just lost 1.5 stone from careful and steady change of diet over 6 months, and its staying off perfectly - but it makes me wonder why I didn't lick a bogpan and do it in a few days  ;D

Sorry to hear anyone has been ill... SWMBO has had some really nasty side effects from her tests 2 weeks ago and has now got to have a Gall Bladder scanned tomorrow morning because they think it may be playing up too :( :(

Doctor did agree with me though... Best solution overall is Amputation at the Neck ::) ::) ;D ;D

Funny that, think my swmbo would benefit from the same treatment....... :D :D :D  Little Miss Vamps would agree at the moment as well.. ::) :-X
