Bit of a long shot this, was anyone on this forum or know anyone who was  at the Donington Monsters of Rock 1986. The year Bad News did there set. I just wanted to know what they were like, and weather they did the full set or not, or any other info thanks Dave

No defo Bad news. Bad news was a fake made up band, made up of Rick Mayell and Ade Edmundson and co. It was part of the comic strip presents for channel 4, the epesode was called 'More bad news'. But they did do a few dates and MOR 1986 was the one that featured in the program.

Most of the bands got bottled that year. Someone fired a fire work at lemmy (lemmy motorhead) and he refused to carry on till people calmed down.

There was a poll on the radio a couple of years back and Lemmy was voted scariest person in Rock :-/

There is no such thing as bad beer, some beers are better than others.

I have a mate who was probably there but I doubt he'd remember me, or himself, let alone a festival more then 20 years ago. ;D
