Doing myself an Irish dish for tomorrow night.....

Found a gammon joint in the freezer this morning....

So defrosted it......now soaking in water....to remove excess salt.

In the morning, its going in the slow cooker....for...

Gammon, white gabbage and boiled tats  :y :)

There not curried pickled eggs, just pickled eggs with garlic and red hot chillies  :y
And i always have a stash of them on the go  ;)

Errr ....... rats or pickled eggs - a definate no no!
But I seem to recall Mrs Sethsmate consuming a fair quota of those pickled eggs at Newent last September after the quiz!
