This is a great site which gets good quality photos before the car mags get published: www.netcarshow.com

This is the new A1; the mini rival:

I always fancied an Audi A2 so the wife and I went to Fords Of Winsford to look at one. It was nice until I put the windscreen wipers on the second speed and the car started to rock side to side ;D

My mum had an A2 with 17" RS4 alloys. It was a 3 pot 1.4TDI. What a brilliant and hugely underated (but overpriced) car.

It was fast enough for most people, 80mpg without trying, £35 a year road tax, built like a brick out house. In fact the only fault it had was the ride quality was appalling, truely truely appalling.

My dad doesn't like keeping cars too long so he p/x'ed it in for a 1000 mile last of the last shape Fiesta TDCi Ghia, averagely ok car, but not a patch on the Audi

The A2 was a great idea, but launched 5 years too soon for the buying public-before the green side really kicked off.

If launched a year or two ago, it would have done very well indeed-as shown by the excellent resale prices of A2s-one client has lost nothing in 3 years, 30k miles.  If you factor in cheap running costs and tax, that was a clever buy.

I rate All Audis other than the TT, Dunno why just think they're gay. Small cars have thier place in the market & despite high prices Audi have really got thier act together lately & are making some cracking motors.
While we're on the VAG group let's not forget the VW Pheaton. In a few years with the crippling depreciation that is bound to follow these could be an alternative to the Monaro/VXr8?

Audi make some quite tough cars, hopefully the new one will be just as good as the following one...

Good job it was left and drive and the driver was on his own.....   :o

This looks interesting, unfortunately it does not come out by the time my current lease runs out, unless I run the Mig for a few months.... ::) ::) ::)
