I do like classical, have it on during the night runs home, much more relaxing. Although some nights do call for a bit of the Kaisers.  ;D

Very nice to listen too. :y
I experienced some of what I would call really proper music at the O2 last night, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck in concert - absolutely superb. 8-) :)

The unofficial 'anthem' of England from the poem written by William Blake. A tribute to the generations that have gone before us to preserve that 'green and pleasant land' for 'England & St. George!'
breaked now though bloody shame :(

I'm glad someone else mentioned classical music.
Been a big fan since I was 13-when the old man (Dad) took me to de Monfort hall in Leicester a few times, saw (Sir) John Barbirolli and a few others.
I've been dying to ask, anyone tried listening to Bruckner?
I'm 64 now and Ive listened to just about everything but never Bruckner, till now.
Was he schizophrenic or something??

His Symphonies sound as if if he dropped all his music sheets and picked them up in the wrong order.
I'm still struggling to wrap my head around his Symphonies, but they sound as if my system keeps changing tracks.

Give No.5 a try and you'll see what I mean.

By the way I also 'dig' Led Zeppelin,Pink floyd,pearl jam,Lynard skynard,Hawkwind etc.

Only ever liked one of their tracks, 'links' or what ever it is, one with all the ants in the music video, still had to be in the right mood though, bit hard-core for my liking  :y
