Great morning out for the kids
« on: 18 February 2010, 13:02:49 »

Always difficult to occupy the kids at half term, but this morning I went to see Planet 51 at the local Vue cinema at a cost of 95p per ticket (both adults and children). It's a Lego promotion, apparently.

Very good film at a great price!

Took mine to see The Frog & The Princess at the weekend and discovered that my two tear old is still a bit young to sit through a film but his three year old sister was brilliant and loved it. Total cost inc obligatary  popcorn and a Tango Ice Blast (which I've decided is a machine im going to have to buy when I win the lottery) was in the £35 region. They wouldn't even give us two empty popcorn boxes to decant a little bit in for the babes, even after I got the manager out in front of lots of customers.
