I drink a lot of tea aswel, never done me any harm that I am aware of (don't take sugar)

At the end of the day it is 99% water so can't be that bad.  :y

i lose weight easy and if i drink tea i dont eat, can go without eating for 2 days at a time. 24 cups x 2 sugars is not good, especially if i drink it black which i do more now as it tastes better

I had to give up sugar in tea and coffee as one week at work I was alone (everyone else on leave) and I emptied our sugar bowl in that week. It frightened me how much sugar I was taking in.

It did take me two attempts at giving up sugar in tea, but now I have done it I could not go back, if someone gives me a cup with sugar in I can't drink it, not even to be polite.

Some years ago i saw my Doctor regarding a hypertension issue - when he asked me how many cups of tea and coffee i had daily i told him truthfully it was about 12... ::)

he was shocked - "no wonder, you must be high as a kite! Stick to no more than 4 cups a day, or better still drink decaff,  and your hyper problems will disappear.."

he was right  :y

I drink so little tea and coffee that 2 cups in a row make me shaky and wound up - makes me the butt of the jokes in work at breaktime..

Can't sleep if I drink it after about 7 either  :-[

I've got to have 2 cups of strong Yorkshire tea in the morning before I do anything.

We ought to stop this before TheBoy gets over-excited. You know what always says about cups of tea. :-?
