By the way once I have both up and running if anyone wants to have a day messing about in Chischester or Poole I am more than willing to let a fellow oofer borrow one of my girls
By girls i hope you mean the one in your avatar

Been years since i took Lazer out, was good fun, running so close & low to the water was great fun. Trouble was it was a bit of a haul to my local, combination of the drive, and rigging / de-rigging it on my own, I used to get too tired.
Well I do something called dinghy cruising, something a lot of dinghy instructors will tell you is dangerous. We take our boats out packed with lunch, maybe a fishing rod or twelve (me) , and camping gear if we are staying out overnight. We often sail in company for safety but we dont gaggle together to limit freedom of movement.
Beginners stay in sheltered waters like I mentionned in an earlier post, the more experienced go out into the channel. Some go round the IoW and some with the right dinghies go over to France!
I have just finished reading a book written by a bloke who sailed around Britain in a laser! Took him 4 months!

I have some ideas of my own for fundraising on behalf of Help for Heros once I am competant enough. But until then my plans will stay on ice..

So Tunnie, more than welcome to come along one day/weekend. Lakes are just plain boring compared to this
