 However that's all over, am all ready, tools all packed, taking spare soldering iron, hot air gun, scope, 2 DVM's, solder etc.

Go prepared, Steve: you`ll need 12 bricks (3 for each wheel)....so, it`ll be nearly as hard a day`s work as Ken will have!

He'll have a job, its got locking wheel nuts on and I have a hard time getting them off, and I have the key. 

Its a place called Knowsley, so not in Liverpool, but close. Depending on the morning traffic, I might be better staying in a B&B and going home at weekends, know anywhere reasonable ?.

Good news on the job Ken and good luck.

We don't have many B+B's round here but I will have an ask around. There are a few LPG stations on the East Lancs which are about 53 p a litre as I am guessing you will be getting through quite a bit of the stuff.
