I'm so impressed that both the EU and its Court of Justice are looking after the welfare of the vulnerable here in this hostile country.

How far-sighted it has been for our present Government to forge even closer links with this august body through the Lisbon treaty. 8-) 8-)

We should indeed consider ourselves fortunate - I'll certainly be voting for New Labour (really the equivalent of the local government body to those great institutions of the EU of course) next time around. :y

I entreaty all members of this forum to do likewise :y :y

Rules get worse.

On the news last week, a woman with 6 kids moved into private rented accomadtion and put the rent bill to housing benefit, as she had a large family and was not working they had to pay out on a loop hole in the rules.

They were forced to pay her £1700 a weeek rent bill.

Think it was on The Wright Stuff last week.

Thank you Opti, I will be at ease when I know that you will join me in helping to return the present Government to a very well deserved second term in power under the sage leadership of Prime Minister Brown 8-) :y :y
