Did anyone watch Darling being interviewed on Sky news this evening. It was astonishing.
He admitted that " the forces of hell were unleashed " on him from 10 Downing St. ( and from the Tories) when he voiced the opinion that we were in for the worst recession in 60 years. This imo adds a lot more weight to the "Brown is a bully" story.
He didnt try to deny that from 2003 to 2007 Chancellor Prudence Brown ran the national deficit up from£32 billion in 2003 to £163 billion in 2007.

This was despite the fact that the country and the City in particular were experiencing a spectecular boom and the tax receipts at the Treasury were therefore collossal.
He also admitted that we are currently paying £40 billion per year in interest alone on the money they have borrowed. My maths isnt that great but I make that over £100 million per week ?

How any responsible citizen could vote to re-elect that is completely beyond me. :-/
Despite the fact that I am no big fan of the Tories it is a historical fact that when they are in government they whip the economy into shape and when Labour get back in they wreck it again.
