Window Tint - Bay Windows/Patio Doors

Just been looking at tints on Ebay, I have the Sun streaming through my Bay Windows/Patio doors from about 1pm on a Sunny day.  I have vertical blinds fitted but they are becoming a PITA.  The blinds stay closed most of the time which doesnt bother me as they are thin enough to let plenty of light through.  But I dont like to leave them open because of the TV/Computer and elctrical stuff etc

Nets are out of the question. Am just trying to stop people being nosy but  dont want to tint the windows in a way that they looked blanked out.  Have seen some one way tint.

All this has got me thinking after I saw the window cleaner having a peep through a gap,

Questions are.

Whats the best shade to go for on a house.

One way tint, good or bad idea.

Are they best fitted by taking the glass panes aout or will that affect the seal on the glass.

If glass does not need removing then how easy a DIY job is it.

Tint colour is personal choice
One-way tint will reduce light emissions a fair degree
Easy enough to fit DIY
Can be done with sealed unit (glass) in situ or if preferred, remove glass (5 min job)

Tints ar ok, but where are you going to put the big exhaust.!  :o
