St David's Day
« on: 28 February 2010, 21:48:42 »

It seems that was only yesterday I was sitting down to Christmas Lunch, and lo and behold tomorrow is St David's Day.
Where are the weeks going?
There are only 299 shopping days to Christmas.
Oh Well.
Leek and Potato Pie it is today then.

I dunno.  Bl**dy roses on Valentines Day, and now I'll have to go and get some daffs for her.  Haven't actually seen any so far this year, so thanks for reminding me. :(

I spoke to a florist friend of mine only yesterday and she says the cold weather has all but killed them off, so expect HIGH prices, but she would say that would'nt she.
Just give her a nice piece of CLOGAU GOLD, she will appreciate it more, of that I am sure. :y :y :y :y

Flowers soon appeared.

Yep, tomorrow's a big day in Welsh schools too.

We used to have a concert in the morning, boys wearing a leek, girls with daffs.
Then an afternoon off school!

Tomorrow also sees the re-introduction of the Swansea - Cork Ferry too.
