A lot of my collegues have one, they are pretty useful esp if space is an issue.  Just beware that the canisters are difficult or impossible to get abroad so check before taking it on your hols minus canister thinking you can get one when you get there....

Yeah thought gas bottles would be an issue, how long do they last it does not have to heat much, or be on for long  :-/

you do get at least twenty uses out of one canister but as previously stated not as easy to get 'abroad' in comparrison to here.I've had mine for about five years now and do use the stabiliser on soft ground quite a bit.

Europe not an issue yet, but 20 uses sounds good.  8-)

I was using mine for boil in the bag meals as that was the option for food at the time (got to love 24hr ration packs)  ;D

Bunch of miserable gits you are, if you want to see water boiling, go turn a kettle on. It was a nice demonstration of how it all fits together.

Do you not know how to put water in it and light it as shown? Need a video for that too?  :-?

I have one of these, nice and simple to use, can use the supplied firebox or an external heat source, but it is bulky

Number 1 rule of an advertising....you have 30 seconds to sell your product before the attention of the consumer fades....hes missed the boat.

It has 2 or maybe 3 key selling points.

1) Its very fast at boiling water (or heating other items)
2) Its compact and light

These are not conveyed in the first 4 mins let alone 30 seconds.

The details should be kept to the instructions....not the sales pitch
