Had a P6 3500S it would spin the rears in 2nd on a dry road.

Then bought a 5 speed 3500SD1-wouldn't pull Granny off the p!!! pot.

Wish I'd kept them both though.

That's very surprizing, they're supposed to be quicker & my SD1's where all quicker than the P6 V8.

My second car was a 1966 P6 2000SC, light blue & with beige leather 8-) 8-) I never knew what speed i was doing, because the speedo would bounce at + or - 5mph ;D
I wouldn't like to go through any Speed Cameras with it ;D
A few years later I had a 1977 2.2TC in Maroon & beige velour, i had the spare wheel placed on the boot to gain boot space :y
Then i had a my first 3.5 Auto 8-) 8-) 8-) & at only 19 years old. Try that nowadays :( Progressed to SD1's after that & i had many  8-) 8-) 8-) :) :)

......one of the last made .....I would think ..Pete. :y

You know i'd never thought of it like that, you're right :y
SD1's came out a little earlier, i've seen an N reg & a few P regs :y

....I think the models overlapped for a year or two Pete ...... :y :y....I liked the manual P6 3500S... :y

They had different stainless wheel trims to the auto :y

The trims are used on VW Camper Poofter Vans by some folk :(
