Dinosaurs wiped out by an asteroid - again !
« on: 05 March 2010, 21:40:57 »

Dinosaurs - rulers of Earth for 160 million years - all died within days of a giant asteroid, scientists said yesterday...... (for the humteenth time)..!.

We're back to the "Yes it was an asteroid".... yet again, and till of course......?.

ohhh I thought it was because they ate all the vegitation and trees that oxygen wasn't being produced at the same level, then the gasses from their farts caused the earths temperature to rise, and that made sea levels increase, which meant less land to stand on, which made the earths orbit shift and then an asteroid to crash into them...
Im sure there was an earthquake in there too somewhere...

Or perhaps Im reading the wrong science journal??     :D :D :D

Dam Dinosaurs, why didn't they help us learn from their global warming mistakes...  >:(

By using scientific and geological measurements of the evidence; carbon dating - rock deposits - depth in the earth of prehistoric remains, etc. ;) ;)

The latest discovery is the finding of a certain chemical, associated with asteroid's, that dates to 65 million years ago.  This has for a considerable time now been considered as the time when dinosaurs were wiped out over a period of approximately one year. :) :)

The lesson to be learnt by us is of course your species can survive for 160 million years, but in one instance the world's environment can change around you and kill us all off!

Hence the worries and precautions being taken over global climate change at the current time! ;) ;)

So with all the current DNA TECHNOLOGY is it possible to actually do what was done in Jurassic Park1 and re-introduce Dinosaurs from DNA.
Seems to make sense, but then I amy be having a blonde moment again.

The religious freaks would have us believe that the earth is only around 10,000 years old & the Dino's didn't exist ;D ;D

Yep, and everything was created in 7 days, and the dino  bones do not exist! ::) ::)

Well, that is their view so I suppose we must respect it.  Perhaps it explains why the Earth has so many problems!! :D :D ;) ;)
