Petrol prices
« on: 12 March 2010, 19:50:08 »

I notice they are going right up. Just paid £117.9 for unleaded at my local garage. I don't know if that's right, or whether he's taking the piss because asda has been closed for a conversion to self-service. I think asda is about to open and I noticed that £111.9 was displayed on their brand new electronic board today. If that's correct, the local garage will no doubt be £113.9 tomorrow. Bastard.

Cant remember the last time I bought petrol, must have been christmas time when I filled the tank up, did 50 miles that day and not used the car since. so have no idea of fuel prices.

Most garages around here are at £118 per litre. Super markets about 4p cheaper. Makes my rather blood boil. >:(

Local Shell is 111.9 for diesel, Asda, Tesco's etc are 113.9.

Why is this, I didn't think oil was that expensive by the barrel at the moment or am I wrong?

No one seems to be bringing the centre of London to a standstill, so it must be alright. :(

Oil price hasn't gone up but pound has plummeted, and as we buy oil in dollars it takes a lot more pounds to buy the basic stuff ... :(

I put fuel in in Asda Merthyr this morning @ £1.12.9, I then put more in in Stoke @£1.22.9, so we are cheaper here I Suppose.
And do not ask why I was in Stoke. ;D ;D ;D ;D
