Then you didn't go into any 'tourist shops' Darth! That joke is on everything from teatowels to fake vellum scrolls to hang on the wall, and on show in every shop window! Believe me, I first saw it back in 1970 on my first run ashore as a green Junior Seaman courtesy of the RN, & I last saw it in 2003, as a very old & decrepid Senior Landlubber

In which case then I now know why.... at 13 I would not be looking at tea towels more like the topless women on that beach I daren't stand up on... funny really I had the exact same problem in Italy where gorgeous dark haired, tanned bodied women were showering theirselves on the beach... think my Dad had the same problem he had sun burn too on his back

In fact with Malta just 50 miles from Sicily, the Maltese and Italians are well used to taliking to each other.  They either speak to each other in Italian or mainly use English.  I never heard many Italians speaking Maltese!

That just goes to show how sheltered an upbringing you had youth! Any lad knows that a teatowel comes in handy for more than drying dishes For instance, it can be a real blush saver when you stand up on a beach with naked women on it , amongst other things

Lovely place Malta what was funny though, I think it was called Thats Life, used to get funny pictures sent in, so when my Mum took a picture of an old Guy sitting on what looked like a petrol lawn mower towing a trailer with a goat on it shame it did not turn out that brill when she had it developed

Ah yes!   The good very old volcanic rock!

Next time Daz try the two sandy beaches at Paradise Bay and Golden Bay! 8-) 8-)
