Flea-bay 'Red Mist'
« on: 19 March 2010, 21:44:50 »

Some folk must just get sucked into a "must win it" bidding mode.

This, http://www.navmanstore.co.uk/newsite/products/TN0247_Navman_S50.html is £67.94 (inc VAT, full 12 month Navman warranty & 24hr P&P).
Flea-bay bidding has just ended at £92.25 for the same, but with no latest up-grades or warranty. :o

Still as long as they're happy I suppose.
Just hope they don't look into how much of a "bargain" they did('nt) get.  ::)

Navman Factory Repacked Product. This is a Navman Factory Repacked product. This means the device may have originated from Europe and has been re packed for the UK and restored to full UK spec. After undergoing an intensive inspection process by Navman qualified technicians we then offer the factory repacked product at a substantially discounted price. All devices come with a full 12 month warranty by Navman.

Doesn't say anything about them being used, pre-owned or second hand.
I suspect it should advise this if they were.  :-/

Restored to full UK spec and re-packed for UK...yes, but even if they are 2nd hand they come with a Navman 12 month warranty.

To pay almost £25 more, for something 2nd hand and with no warranty doesn't make much sense.
Well, not to me anyway.  ::)

Sorry i thought the ones on ebay were new.....

As far i can gather, quickly, looking at the other Navman thread.....Navman....do px? So if so, what do they do with the ones traded in? New cases and resell?  :-/

Lifted from the Navman site.....

What is a Factory Repacked Product?
Our Factory Repacked products are devices that have been returned by customers, for various reasons. We have the device restored to bring it back to its original working condition. After undergoing an intensive inspection process by qualified technicians we then offer the factory repacked product at a substantially discounted price.

So yes, i'd say they are 2nd hand......
