I ordered some cambelt kits and water pumps from them last Tuesday. They've not yet arrived. Do they usually take this long?

I called them today, they have said the "goods have gone out, with DHL" but haven't given me a tracking number, and say they "can't get one from the warehouse".

The parts are needed for a job tomorrow, and were ordered a week in advance - Both myself and the chap I'm doing it for are going to be incredibly annoyed if this parcel doesn't arrive.... do they usually take this long???

No tracking number sounds IFFY to me.
They(sellers) are supposed to help you, not hinder you.

You sent your message 17 minutes ago, during which time I have been chasing these parts, and trying to get on with things I have to do at work..... please be a bit patient.

I've found that if you order via the tinternet they don't tell you they dont have stock you have to wait until it comes in and they then post it out :(

When you install the water pump I am sure you will check it spins freely. Mine from buypartsby (quinton hazel) didn't. The standard VX bolts off the old pump were too long!

I seemed to have read about this in my emails today :yWaiting for the work to be done isn't too much of an issue, but the law of sod says I will hear a strange noise followed by lots of odd coloured smoke as my cambelt snaps ::)before you get to fit the new one! Just as well I'm not going far this week :)So now we both have to wait until DownHill Logistics pull their finger out and get delivering.Muppets!
