£10k at Vx
« on: 05 April 2007, 20:49:19 »

I was up at the Vx dealer's today getting some parts and asked my wife to go out on the lot and find me a replacement car for my Megga.

The rules were simple.

1. It has to have a sticker price under £10k
2. I had to want to drive it (and own it)
3. It had to have enough toys to keep me happy

So what do you think she came up with? - 150+ cars to choose from......

Tunnie was nearest - my daughter liked the Tigra but the Mrs could do no better than a 53 plate Vectra Elite with 54k.

So here's the puzzle, did I (a) hand over my pristene 03 Megga with 45k for a dull looking Veccy and about £6000 or (b) treat myself to a new set of Omega plush mats (cos my heel heel has worn through now) at £37

No need to answer, they'll be here on Wednesday. ;)

Aren't cars expensive  :-/  (Unless they are trade in Omega's of course)  :y

I have yet to drive a VeccyC... have a feeling the 3.2 and turbos might shift  ::)

I still feel catastrophic inside, sat a latest shape one a while ago felt surprisingly small inside given the car's size  (was a dark interior)
