« on: 29 March 2010, 18:39:08 »

Help Needed.
My friend has a Ford Scorpio 2.9 24v Cosworth M Reg, and she just came to see me and she was in a different car, asked her where her Scorpio is, and she says....
Tempreture Gauge is going off the scale even with engine cold .
Any ideas folks. :y :y :y :y :y

As soon as she turns on ignition even when not started for 12 hours or more guage goes off the scale, Is this faulty sender, faulty sensor, or something more sinister

Reads as though you may well have diagnosed the problem yourself, especially if there is ne actual heat in the engine....

Just need to eliminate and tie it down a bit more.   :y
