Personally I would fly from London city to Edinburgh, then train or taxi to your destination. Life is much to short to spend a day on a coach. :y
Any rough idea on a price? Every bit of money spent to get there and back is money taken out of my profit so, need to keep the travel prices very low  :y

You're not gonna beat the bus price Del, just a loooooong day.
Only thing putting me off but, it is the cheapest option.

Does that include the taxes? There are stories of the £30 flights on shlttyeasyjet that turn to over £100 with the taxes.

Linlithgow, West Lothian, United Kingdom. Mrs doesn't want to go, I can understand why, don't want to pay the train prices of over £180 either so how else would I get there? Would be me and a 15 year old. Looked on national express they know where I'm coming from but their website doesn't know the place I want to get to. Found a very cheap van up there as I sold mine today and don't want to fuel the car or use any of the other cars I have either all 4 of them are all off the road.

I don't know if anyone has suggested it already but what about www.raileasy.co.uk

i've just saved £80 on rail fare using this site......

worth a thought..
