The Gadget show reckoned to go for LCD up to 37" and plasme for the rest.

I bought a pansonic 46" and cant fault it and may go for an LCD so I have one of each, but TBH I use this one mostly as a PC monitor with a HDMI 1 Gb Vid card.  ::)
