Kevin

But he also has a vaporiser which is operating right at the limits :-/

Reckon it may well clear up after another Autocal/mapping session... Don't forget, things will need bed in over the first 1000 miles or so :y

Reckon the pressure will probably have dropped by about 0.2 BAR by now... Mine did ;)

I mean trying to blip/feather throttle during change, rather than comming off power so abruptly.

Maybe worth trying V6 vaporiser on 4pot?

Why? It was running fine when we mapped it... Things have just stretched and bedded in... Re-mapping will probably cure it :y

Sounds good to me  :y

Thoughts to using V6 Vaporiser is that would not be at its limits connected to a 4pot...

The issue wasn't there when I left 10 Days ago... Therefore it's something which has happened since ;) It'll be where the diaphragm in the vaporiser has stretched a little and settled down :y

Like I said, TB was saying he'd prefer to re-connect all the LPG stuff at home this time (especially as KW's garage is likely to be full of broken Westfield now) so when it's done, your's can have a 1000(ish) mile check up :y :y

Not just a straight swap... You have different sensors and connections in the wrong places for a "quick" swap ;)

Not sure if it'll be me, Kevin (must stop putting KW now we have a member using that name  ::)), Chris or a combination of... Depends on a few things, like whether if fits my time off and Mrs LD's plans ::) Although she'd probably be happy to come over and play craft stuff with Mrs TB (if I think I can afford it ::)) ;D ;D

I wouldn't be too hasty to junk it. Have another tweak with the mapping.

If you do suspect the vapouriser is not up to it, watch the vapour pressure  and lambda sensors during a hard acceleration run. (You can do a limited datalog with the LPG software).

It's normal for the V6s to drop about 0.2 bar of vapour pressure on full load, full revs. Lambda sensors should be indicating rich.

If that's OK, the vapouriser is fine. Even if it's not, how often do you drive it flat out anyway sorry. Remembered that it's a 4 pot frequently used to recover other vehicles. ;)

When we mapped it there was a switch back error at high RPM, full throttle (that took some egging on ;D) a couple of times but we found a good compromise where it wouldn't do it.  :y

I suspect that the problem is just that the pressure has dropped now things have bedded in. Remember how much mine had dropped by when we had to calibrate it at yours? I couldn't even auto calibrate it because the pressure had dropped so low.  :o Think that was about 1k after fitting :y

For general use it appears to be adequate, although much more pressure sensitive than mine is

If it's not going lean at full throttle it might be a good idea to back off the minimum vapour pressure a little to avoid it switching to petrol?
