A friend of mine built a micro pc similar to that running a linux operating system, works well too depending on what you are using it for :y

once saw a dedicated incar PC setup on pimp my ride but cant remember what it was called but that was quite dapper.

Quite a few interesting Mini-itx projects and bits and pieces here: http://www.mini-itx.com/.

I used to run an EPIA800 as a music server running Linux. Whole machine took 20 watts, was fanless and never fell over running 24/7. More than can be said for its' Intel replacement, so much so that I'm, considering its' reinstatement. :(

Its an expensive blog that they blend everything!

If had the space though, iPad makes for decent in-car PC, as its designed for touch use.

Needs something to stop the glare off the screen, hacked me off just watching the vid, would hate to live with it.

Wanted to fit something like this in my car for years now. Sat Nav music etc all in one place.

There is a forum dedicated to it that I am a member of. Just not had the fundsrequired to do it yet!

That's already been done with the x-box, along with touch screen and 12V conversion.
