I have just been reading about past elections and came across the name Screaming Lord Sutch. Will there ever be another character like him at election time? 11 years since he committed suicide. But, that aside, he was always there, be it a General Election or a By Election, Top Hat and extravagant clothes. Stood against Maggie once, I think his record number of votes won was 1114. Must have lost his deposit at EVERY election he stood in. Never Mind, was a character all the same. ::) ::) ::)
