'Man Father' always talks about a visit from a local undertakers who bought a Carlton Estate many moons ago.....they brought a large 'box' to check out the load space and passed comments like 'you could get two in there'....bought one with tinted windows to use for body snatching/collecting......

So my guess is that Taxi Driver is doing some work on the side for the Coop.....

Is it one of yours? Are you going to DIY it?

 :-X

......?  well?     ;)

No i didnt buy it MJ.....my final offer was £350...

It was for a 1999 Omega 3L Elite Estate 135k miles.....leather/sat nav (no not colour Mark  ;) )

I think £350 was fair for what i believe it had wrong........ a knackered oil cooler (owner thought it was head gasket gone)
Mind you it could have had a host of other things wrong as it didnt have an MOT either!
Plus i have to factor into the equation, it woud have cost me another £120 to have it recovered to Swindon.

Oh well i'll keep searching.......

Oh well... next time then.  :y

Correct  :y

Thought it was time....to have a go at more challenging fixes....obviously i dont want to go breaking things on my 'work' omega......but dont care if i fubar a cheap car up.....reason for leather and 3.0L is if i did buy a piece of cack or broke it totally....then at least i could get some money back selling some parts.

Also i have managed to get a spare corner of my local garage if i did buy anything that didnt have an mot or tax on it  :)
