Was messing about on Google Earth last night and it seems such a shame that you just cant double click a main road for example and see it in it's entirety.
A major road to me is the A57 apparently it starts in Lincoln and goes all the way through to Liverpool, so I deceided to check it out. I know it has changed slightly over the years in the Worksop area then comes down over the M1 J31 and used to go through Aston where I used to live and then carried on down to Handworth. Now there is the Aston bypass then on to Handworth but as soon as you get to the Parkway it show the A57 to go both ways, into Sheffiels which is correct and up the Parkway (Slightly) back to the M1.
Then at the end of the Parkway the main roundabout the A61 crosses over it but the A57 is dropped untill further on in Sheffield and picked up to go over Derbyshire.
I would have thought for a road to keep it's tittle it would have had to be continuous witout major breaks init, and if Google Earth are reading this, then when can we have the facility to just highlight a complete road as it suits us.
Niggle over and thankyou for reading.
