Grumpy Neighbours
« on: 12 April 2010, 21:17:20 »

Apparently I'm selfish and inconsiderate, only thinking of self, self, self! ::)

Well, that's what my grumpy neighbour told me when he cam out for a go whilst I was changing the cam belt earlier! ::)

I shouldn't have people come and stay either according to him! What is funnier is that he was accusing me/us of making loads of noise on Saturday night and I think it was actually the guy the other side of me ;D ;D

He even threatened to call the police about me working on my car in the road, until I pointed out it was a private road ;D ;D

Not really surprised he's started whining at me... I've listened to his moaning about the people behind him letting their kids play in the garden enough times :o :o

In the end I told him (in more colourful language ::)) to Jog on and sit alone in his house being miserable because it must be what he enjoys :D

Oh... And I obviously don't know what I'm doing when I maintain my car because I seem to do a lot of work on it ::) Did point out that it's called Preventative Maintenance ;D

I think it's all Kevin and TB's fault... They were the ones making all the noise :-X :-X ;D ;D

The conversation was interesting ::) ::)

Funnily enough, I asked the other neighbour if she found us exceptionally noisy and she said that they were noisier than us ::) ;D ;D

Reckons we were slamming doors... That was the neighbour when he got back from his gig at 0130 ::)

He's one of those people who isn't happy if he's not moaning ::)

He is to be pitied. I had just such a neighbour at my last address, drove himself mad with the thought that people were doing it on purpose. He made himself ill and ended up in hospital.

I wouldn't mind if it were true but I have helped him out no end of times... Even took him to and from the airport in the very early hours when I was working that day ::)

I wont be worrying about it... He may move away like he keeps threatening now (with any luck) ::) :D

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should pander to him. It's just that I don't think he has anything better to occupy his time, and that's a bit sad.

Ask him if he knows anything about cars as you could do with a hand...and then let the car down on him. ;D
