Massive and huge thanks to Bertie...
« on: 17 April 2010, 20:02:32 »

Been doing my clutch/DMF today. Bertie turned up ready and willing to help just in time to discover they'd given me the wrong clutch, well it was the right clutch according to the box but it had been labelled wrong  >:( Takes it back and they haven't got another (correct one) and can't get one until at least Monday afternoon  >:( >:(

Anyway a bit of phoning around and found one at another local factors that he'd got for his own car and never fitted. Got it at a good price too :y All expertly chauffered by good ole Bertie, so a mini fish and chips special and back to it! 3:45 the first bolt went in the DMF, 6:30 it was off the ramps and going for test spin :y

Couldn't have done it without you Bertie, thanks for all your help (and chauffering), we'll have to have a night out on the lash soon :y

No, didn't have a problem with any of the bolts, it was that damn Fiat clutch that nearly tipped me over the edge ;D
