Personally when working on the car I prefer latex, only problem now is getting latex gloves as they have been banned at work. Something to do with allergies I think.

I've got a few tubs of this from where Iused to work. It's great, as long as it's not water you're working with. Unfortunately not cheap if you're paying for it yourself, but a tub does last a long time.  :y

I have been getting really bad headaches after working on cars but since changing to Nitrile from Latex the headaches have stopped, it might be coincidence. My local Vauxhall dealer sells them for £2.50 per box of 100.

i find the disposable gloves fairly useless tbh, they rip far too easily, dont fit your hands with bits hanging off the end getting in the way, the slightest sign of fluid they become slippery on the outside and sweat on the inside just doubles the lack of grip and turns your hands into prunes.

I only use disposables for parts washing and particularly messy jobs, the above i find ideal for outside work on the car, esp in winter when the cars a block if ice, last well, fit perfectly, and have a slight tactile finish meaning "finger tight" is now alot tighter. Bit warm for factory work but thats not an issue for us lot.

We have something very similar at work. A lighter duty white, Marcel Marcau, type & a heavier duty grey type. Trouble is, I've become a woos at work & don't like to get my hands dirty at all!  :-?  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
