The 'mad mullahs' might -- but most of the people I've met in Iran recently  are normal, and don't believe that twaddle.

They are in most places same as you and me - apart from one guy I met in Malacca - he said his life was complicated - Wife and 3 kids in Philipines, wife and 2 kids in Malacca, and having an affair at the same time-- but I'm stuck here at moment - as is many others -- ( could have been worse - if customer had confirmed meet and greet at Lagos - last monday - i would still be there)-with beer at £1.00 a pint

Would you believe it if someone said go and strap a bomb to your body, walk into that crowded market place and blow yourself up, you'll end up in paradise ::)

The only places they end up are a bit on the fruit and veg stall, a piece on the haberdashery stand, another piece on the butchers counter, a fragment next to the Cod at the fishmongers, and assorted body part fall out scattered around a 400 yard area

It might be a misquote? :o  The Mullah might have said something like... "all you loose women leading our men astray & making the 'earth move' every time you 'have it off' just isn't good enough!".... or words to that effect?  ::);D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Those living in Britain used to believe in such things a few hundred years ago, with God punishing humans for their sins - especially women!!! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Just shows how far back in time Iran is, and the distance they have to travel to arrive into the 21st century ;) ;)

using religion as a political tool to manage a country  and isolating from the world can lead to such horrible results..

but I do believe still there are many clever heads waiting for the day ..during the university years I do meet many of them trained as engineer by METU and one of them was a an ex mathematician worked in Japan and cant go back his country..Still I remember him with respect..

i remember a day called the sabbath when stores never opened on sundays, factories and offices were closed, and people did things with there families and friends. but that all vanished when the pakis got there own way and were able to open 7 days a week till when it suited them and everyone else followed suit.
