The idea is to ensnare drivers "anywhere, anytime" by blending in with ordinary vehicle traffic in vehicles as diverse as a Toyota sedan, a Volkswagen Golf, a Mitsubishi Lancer, a Subaru WRX, a Hummer H2, and various types of trucks and SUVs.

That's blending in alright  ;D

So what do they do with the Q cars then, use one to lure an offender into a race then use the 2nd car to book him.

I think there is also info mation in the Uk in the way of forums that name the unmarked police cars that patrol the motorways etc, I know South Yorkshire have a few tastsy motors for pusuit work.

They have similar cars here in Spain. Saw an old battered blue Fiat Croma estate the other day. Fitted with on board Tv/video recording kit. The only outward sign was a strange rocket looking device tucked into the grill. The sneaky beggars even had "ugly baby screens" on the side windows so you couldn't see all the kit inside.
