Ebay refunds due to non delivery.
« on: 22 April 2010, 00:13:44 »

What a night mare the site is.

8 refunds required  from one deller, now an unregistered user.

Ebay sent me mails regards to 8 different item numbers, but only seem to want to talk about 5of them, and olny now want to respond with 1 item number, wont deal with me unless I go through resoloution centre, but wont help when I do as they say no longer a registered user.   :-/

Set 2 more refunds in motion tonight, 1 seller sends in proof of posting which is not proof of posing, but wont show me the details to check it out.

Another person sends in a royal mail tracking number that royal mail site does not even reconise, and when I apply to the resoloution centre I get an email from paypal and respond to it through yahoo mail where it was sent, and get the follwing.

Hello Phil,

We want to help you but we're not able to respond directly to emails
sent to this address.

One of the best ways to get answers to your questions is to go to the
PayPal website and visit the Help Center by clicking "Help" at the top
of the page.

If you have a problem with limited access to your account, you'll need
to:

1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Resolution Center" at the top of the page.
3. Follow the instructions in "Steps to Remove Limitations."

If you can't log in to your account, you'll need to:

1. Go to the PayPal website.
2. Click "Contact Us" at the bottom of any page.
3. Click "Contact Customer Service."
4. Click "Continue" and follow the instructions.

We value your business and want to provide you with the best customer
care.

Thanks,

PayPal

These claims are all under a fiver, even the 8x one that they mention 5 items in the five items only come to £3.40

Is it worth it.....

I think I may give in on this one for the sake of my sanity.

I've just started the same thing with a guy in Yorkshire.
Won the auction for the steering wheel - paid with paypal and didn't hear anything.
mailed through ebay mail. let me know when you've sent the wheel mate.
'Sent today'

2 days later eBay email me saying the item has been removed - don't bid >:( :( :-?

Seller now not registered
Transpires that he'd been asking people to buy outside eBay so they'd removed him as an eBayer.

So that's helpful then. I win the auction and then they tell me not to bid.
I'm currently waiting to see if he responds to their enquiries.
I have to keep an eye on the date (otherwise they close the case) and then 'escalate' via the resolution centre.

I wonder what's going to happen.......................?
F**k all with no help from eBay is my guess............

Thats my current problem x8, but the system only works on auction numbers.

they only want to admit to 5 of the items and as mentioned all 5 only total £3.40 so the tosser who got booted has made a bit. :-/

The other pi55 take with ebay, was opening a dispute and they gave me a code that was active for 15 mins saying I could phone between 8am and 10pm, so why do they give me this code at 10:15pm    >:(

Fair point, but

software as it is I log into ebay.co.uk so they know where I am.

If they are not in the UK then why not put thier time zone in brackets like we are GMT

They have no excusses, so stop sticking up for them.   ::)

Refunds are now back in my bank.

Also have just created a spread sheet based on my bank account to monitir whay I have spent on ebay, which gets quite exspensive at times.

I noticed all my paypay tranactions had a long code attached to them, did some further checking and a payment to fuki fillm had the same code, so am assuming it was a debit card tranaction code.  But then there is one number that is completlety different and is a shorter number but is also an ebay/paypal payment.

Just checked the item, the guy is based in china, but have bought from china and US on some of the other deals.

Doesnt look like there is any thing wrong, but with all the current bank fruad I just want to try and keep an eye on things.
