Clegg bursts his own balloon...
« on: 24 April 2010, 15:09:07 »

THE Lib Dem leader is in favour of mosques being able to broadcast calls to prayer from loudspeakers in towns and cities across Britain.

He says the Islamic “muezzin” cry should be allowed to ring out just like Christian church bells. He described it as “a joyful thing”.

Yep, that'll go down well with the general public.  ::)

What a muppet. ;D ;D ;D

I wonder how many mosques there are within 20 miles of his home.?
He's an upstart and hopefully will disappear after the election.

Clegg is hardly British - just look at his parentage.

Why on Earth is that idiot in charge of a major (laffs) UK Political Party?

Oh yeah, cos the Lib Dems are all bloody weirdos..........

As always, you duck the issue.

Is Clegg is in favour of mosques being able to broadcast calls to prayer from loudspeakers in towns and cities across Britain?

Did he say the Islamic “muezzin” cry should be allowed to ring out just like Christian church bells? Did he described it as “a joyful thing”?

These are issues of great importance to the public, Banjax. If you're saying that these allegations are untrue, then point me to the lawsuit. If you admit they are true, then tell me if they are acceptable.

Come on, Banjax. Let's hear it.

once more, for the record - I couldn't give two hoots what invisible super being you choose to believe in, or how you choose to worship your fictional characters - it is, in my opinion all misguided superstition. which misguided superstition you decide to follow is entirely up to the individual.

i'm sorry that anything which upsets the delicate fabric of your existence sends you into yet another tirade  :(

So you think that mosques being able to broadcast calls to prayer from loudspeakers in towns and cities across Britain is acceptable?

Answer the freaking question and stop ducking and diving. >:(
