Moving house today.........didn't think it would be sooooo stressfull!!  Bloody phone company dragging its heels cos we are going back to BT in the new house, not giving me a "porting" number until the 30 days notice is up so we can't get phone and internet to run consecutively, internet company won't connect to new house until phone number is transferred from old house to new, and BT can't do anything without the "porting" number that Tesco home phone won't give me yet. GRRRR!

To add to that, can only get a removal van tues/weds, and its due to rain here tues/weds. (glorious sun today.....)

Just bought an internet "stick", so won't be off the net whilst all this cr*p is going on.

wonder how long you can use 3Gb for until you have to top it up?

im a trucker and i was running a 12 hr live webcam show from my cab last yr and using 1.5 gig over a 12hr , 5 day week lasted four nearly five weeks !!!! so i doubt if ule use 3 gig unless ur downloading movies etc. hope thats some help .

With 3Gb, just stick to browsing the web - stay away from the likes of utube etc, and you should be fine for a couple of weeks .  Using webmail rather than tradional mail can help as well

I went though it all last year, and suffererd big delays because of builders and kitchen fitters etc, then all the hassle with decorating and carpets etc, then a load of crap from E-on, Bt and others getting things connected, Internet was the easy bit.  :-/

The best of luck with the f*****g thing mate,we have a virgin one,and cant wait to sling it straight in the bin,it freezes longer than your on it,9 times out of ten we end up just switching the power button to turn it off.

it was a live  web broadcast so people all round the world could see the truckers lifestyle,i had fans in oz,america,china in fact all points of the globe !! i only stopped because i started hauling high risk loads ,but when that contract ended i never got round to restarting the broadcast.
